summer rush
Rainbow Girls is a non-profit organization serving girls, ages 9-20, in the Tri-Cities and surrounding area that focuses on instilling a sense of community pride.
Activities are centered around the girls’ interests, ensuring age appropriate activities. How we do this…
Elementary Age
This age group focuses more on sisterhood activities and showing the girls that we can celebrate our different hobbies and interests and that not everyone has to be the ‘same’.
Middle School
The girls begin planning some of the events and activities, ranging from team bonding, community service, and family activities. Each girl will be paired with an adult advisor and the girls are responsible for who assists
High School
As the girls get older, we begin to add in leadership camps, resume & interview practice, assistance with filling out scholarship applications and the girls are given more responsibilties for running the organization, from meeting planning to budgeting.
Upcoming Events
The Tri-Cities Rainbow Girls are hosting a donation drive for My Friends Place, the only homeless shelter in the Columbia Basin for teens. My Friends’ Place provides 13-17-year-old homeless teenagers with a bed, meals, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, hygiene products, support services and individualized case management services. They also provide drop-in services for all youth in the community.
