This Is What We
Actually Do

Washington Idaho Rainbow isn’t just something you join—it’s something you do.

It’s showing up, stepping in, and making a real difference in your community
(while having a lot of fun along the way).

From service projects to fundraisers to community events, WAID Rainbow girls are out there making things happen.

NW RAINBOW

Service That Matters

We’re not talking about “checking a box” kind of volunteering.

We’re talking about organizing food drives, cleaning up parks, raising money for causes you care about, and showing up for people who need it.

Every year, Rainbow girls log thousands of service hours across Washington and Idaho—and every single one of those hours represents time, effort, and heart. 💖

And the best part?
You don’t just help—you lead the effort.

Causes We Care About

Rainbow girls support all kinds of organizations and community initiatives, including:

Children’s hospitals

Youth-focused nonprofits

Food banks and shelters

Beach clean-ups

Health and wellness initiatives

Pet and animal-welfare

No two Assemblies are exactly the same—which means girls get to support what matters most in their communities.

Scholarships + Opportunities

Rainbow doesn’t just help you grow now—it helps set you up for what’s next.

Through scholarships and partnerships, members have access to opportunities for college, trade school, and beyond.  Over $24,000 was awarded in scholarships just last year!

It’s one more way all that leadership and service pays off (literally).

Community, But Bigger

When you’re part of Rainbow, you’re connected to something bigger than just your local group.

You’re part of a network of girls, advisors, and community partners who believe in showing up, helping out, and building something meaningful together.

And once you’ve been part of it?
That mindset sticks with you.

Rainbow was … the safe place in the storm of life. The confidence and inner strength that came from leadership and community service was out of this world. The life lessons I learned have stayed with me all my life.
