WA-ID IORG is fortunate to have two camps, where we can host workshops, leadership training, family camping weekends & other opportunities for our members and advisors.
You can find more information on each camp below.
Daddy Swindle Dream Camp is located east of Granite Falls at the Masonic Park in a very rustic setting with full amenities. On the main floor of the Chalet, there is a full kitchen with large dining area. Upstairs are bunk beds and open area for sleeping. The outdoor Amphitheater has electricity and sound system. Outside areas include a gazebo and RV hookups. The Masonic Park has wonderful scenery with river walks. The location is a gateway to mountain highways with recreation opportunities for backpacking, hiking, and fishing.
Campfires are allowed only in designated fire rings. No glass or aluminum cans in fire pits. Firewood is for sale at the gate, and will be delivered to your campsite between 5pm and 7pm. Firewood is $ per bundle. Bring an ax. Recycle! Burn all paper products including your signs and decorations.
Driving in the Park
Observe the posted speed limit! Better yet, park it and walk it, unless you are older, have medical issues or making heavy deliveries. Please limit the number of cars parked so you are not blocking others in. Please back all vehicles in for fire safety reasons. Extra cars can be parked in the lot next to the amphitheater.
Garbage & Recycling
Recycle! Burn all paper products including your signs and decorations. Separate the pop cans from the rest of the garbage and place the cans in the bin at the park entrance. Haul all trash bags to the dumpster adjacent to gate house. A donation of $1.00 per bag to help offset the cost of this service is appreciated.
Park address: 24310 Mt. Loop Highway, Granite Falls, WA. To book your stay prior to Dream Camp Weekend, please contact Shawna McGahan at email@example.com or 206-660-4930.
Potts of Gold
Potts of Gold, or as we affectionately call it, Potts, is our retreat on Hood Canal near Belfair, Washington. The three-story house has upstairs sleeping space for thirty. The main floor’s main attraction is the huge brick fireplace in the spacious living room. An open kitchen with double oven and grill is perfect for preparing meals for any size crowd. The dining room can not only accommodate seating at meals, but space for any projects. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with double beds. Downstairs is a game room with puzzles, a pool table, and ping pong. Outside is a gazebo, basketball court, and play area.
A favorite at Potts is the front porch where you can sit and watch the sun rise and set over the water.
Potts of Gold is currently closed for reservations. During this time, the committee has been working diligently to perform maintenance and make renovations. We look forward to having our beautiful house available for reservations soon.
