Web Site Guidelines
- All WA ID Jurisdiction, Districts and Individual Assembly websites must follow these guidelines:
- The home page of each website must display the official Rainbow Emblem and the allegiance statement to Supreme Assembly.
- Sites will be monitored and non-compliant sites will be notified.
i. If the sites are not brought into compliance, the Supreme Inspector can close the site.
- All Local Assembly web sites must have the approval of the Supreme Inspector. The Supreme Inspector may delegate authority for approval of the content.
- Local Assembly websites must have the approval of the Assembly’s Mother Advisor and the Advisory Board.
- Each assembly must provide the Supreme Inspector (or the person who has been delegated) with the name and contact information for the person maintaining the website.
- Postal Addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information (including full first and last names) of Active Rainbow Girls will not be allowed (See exceptions below).
- No information will be listed about any individual, adult or minor, without a copy of the NW Rainbow Web Site Listing – Authority Form (WSL).
- An alias e-mail address will be established for the Grand Worthy Advisor (GWA) and will be posted with the written permission of the Parents or legal guardian of the GWA.
- E-mail Addresses or contact information of an assembly may be listed on a web page if the contact is an adult.
- Contact information of Grand Officers and Appointments may be listed on a Password Protected web page, provided the WSL for is on file with the webmaster.
- Pictures of Individual active Rainbow Girls are not allowed on websites (see exceptions below).
- Group pictures (Assembly or Service Projects) – no last names allowed in captions.
- Past and Current GWA photos may be used provided the WSL form is on file.
- Advertisement of any non-rainbow related items are not allowed on Rainbow Girls web pages (i.e. banners from site providers such as Geocities, Yahoo!, etc.)
