Service Hours Submission
Submit those service hours as often as you can so we can keep track of all the hands-on community service hours we accumulate!! We challenge each District and Assembly to participate in hands-on service opportunities. You will be recognized for the service you perform!!
Unsure whether it counts as service?? Service is not – babysitting for family members for free (that is just being part of a family). Service is not getting paid for doing something (that is a job). Service is not a fundraiser where you and/or your Assembly benefit (car washes, serving dinners for a fee, etc). Service is not participation in a school club (club meetings are a social event). Service is not a school assignment or graduation requirement (that is getting credit or meeting requirements for school attendance). Service is not political (volunteering for a campaign, etc – that is a cause).
Challenge to each Rainbow Member: Start keeping track of those Service hours on your Service Log to earn a charm bracelet. This will be an ongoing program where you can earn a bracelet and charms as recognition of your hard work. There are four different sequences of charms representing each station of the bow.
Earn bracelet after you accrue 10 hours of service.
