Thank you for joining us on "A Broadway Holiday"

Each year we have a jurisdiction wide convention called Grand Assembly where all the members of Washington Idaho Rainbow converge on Yakima to spend time with each other. Assemblies can participate in Ritual, Sports, Talent, Scrapbooks and Banner competitions. Members have the opportunity to serve in the Grand Choir, as a Jurisdictional Representative, Page or Grand Officer.

Grand Choir is a honor where interested girls can share their love of music and singing with the attendees of Grand Assembly.

Jurisdictional Representatives (formerly correspondents) are appointed and serve the entire Grand Year (July to July). They are appointed to correspond with a Rainbow Girl in another state or jurisdiction around the world. This provides girls an opportunity to make a friend as well as learn about Rainbow in other parts of the country and even the world.

Grand Officers also serve July to July and are appointed based on their past service to Rainbow. They have additional responsibilities throughout the year depending on the office to which they are appointed. They are also expected to preside over the ceremonies and business of the Grand Assembly sessions.

Food: Cotton Candy (any flavor)

Drink: Kool Aid (any flavor)

Flower: Tiger Lily

Colors: Star Light-Star Bright Blue, Tink Green, Pirate Purple, Pixie Dust Pink

Symbols: Pirate Swords, Stars and Dandelions
