Proficiency Test Guidelines
The Washington Idaho Jurisdictional Proficiency Test, as provided on the website, has been in effect since May 1, 2006.
The Proficiency Test for Washington Idaho Rainbow Girls is yet another achievement that our girls will have the opportunity to master. Their knowledge of our Ritual and our Order is of the utmost importance as they travel the journey through our organization. The Proficiency Test will provide an incentive for the members to learn more about Rainbow. We ask that the Grand Deputies and Mother Advisors use this format in encouraging their members to prepare for the tests and succeed in passing.
Test I is for all members. The source for all information is in the Ritual. It is approximately 25 questions and requires 80% correct for passing. The test must be administered by the Mother Advisor or the Grand Deputy. A Proficiency Card denoting Test I will be given to the member who passes the test. Each Assembly has the choice of adding other rewards. As of 2007, the level I test is required for Jurisdictional Correspondents and Pages.
Test II is an advanced test for all members who have successfully passed Test I. The Ritual, the Gold Book, the Statutes and the handout, "The Ritual, Not How But Why" are the sources for information on Test II. It is approximately 22 questions with several of the questions requiring multiple answers. All girls who are applying for a Grand Office must first pass Test II as a pre-requisite for application. Test II must be administered by a Grand Deputy. A Proficiency Card will be given to the member who passes the test. Each Assembly has the choice of adding other rewards. As of 2007, the level II test is required for Grand Officer Appointments.
For questions, please contact your Grand Deputy.
