12th Annual Walk - May 2010
May 15, 2010 was a nice hot day in Wenatchee, WA. As temperatures topped 80 degrees, the Rainbow Girls of Washington Idaho raised over $15,489 for the Northwest Harvest at their 12th Annual Walk.
The hard work of all the girls throughout the jurisdiction paid off as the pledges added up fast and 584 pounds of food was collected to fight hunger in the Northwest.
Thank you to those that volunteered to help with the event!! A special thank you to Denise Kerr, Cathy Dent, Rich and Val Plachy, Jennie and Terry Davis, Karen Forbes, Mikie Block, Judy Scott and Betty Downing.
Congratulations to those that worked extra hard to earn money and collect food for the Walk. This event wouldn’t have been a success without you!!
